Body mass index (BMI) is a measurement of body fat based on height and weight that applies to both adult men and women. The NHLBI’s BMI calculator is one of the most popular tools on the NHLBI Web site, with 1.6 million visitors every month. Now this tool is available for download to your iPhone.

To use it, enter your height and weight, and press the "calculate BMI" button.
