Screen shot of the We Can widget available online at http://www.widgetbox.com/widget/WeCanMiniThe We Can! (Ways to Enhance Children's Activity & Nutrition)® program has a new widget that offers drop-down menus to allow you to select a food group, such as breads and cereals, and discover which foods in that group are the healthiest to eat. Each food group includes lists of the following kinds of foods:

  1. Go foods are the lowest in fat, sugar, and calories and can be eaten any time.
  2. Slow foods are higher in fat, added sugar, and calories and should be eaten less often.
  3. Whoa foods are the highest in fat, added sugar, and calories and should be eaten only once in a while, in small portions.

Download and use this interactive tool to help you and your family make smart food choices.
