Your Guide to Lowering
Your Blood Pressure with DASHCurrently 65 million
American adults have high blood pressure. Health care
providers often tell patients to "watch your diet and cut back
on salt." This is sound advice, but figuring out what to eat
and how much to eat is not always simple. That's why NHLBI has
developed the new "Your
Guide to Lowering Your Blood Pressure with DASH" updated
guidebook, which is based on the DASH (Dietary Approaches to
Stopping Hypertension) research findings. The guide is
easy-to-read and provides step-by-step advice anyone can use
to lower and control blood pressure by following the DASH
eating plan. |
