Public Service Announcement (PSA) Podcast
For National High Blood Pressure Month 2006, the NHLBI has arranged for a Radio PSA on the DASH diet to be aired in all 1,500 Safeway stores throughout the country during the week of May 15-22. It is scheduled to be aired once an hour every hour the stores are open.
You can find links to the audio at http://hp2010.nhlbihin.net/nhbpep_kit/message.htm along with ideas for using it in high blood pressure education activities.
Download it, save it, and offer it to grocery stores or pharmacies in your area. If you are a health care provider or nutritionist, see if you can play it in your office or clinic sound system.
You can also listen to it directly on your computer via a media program or access it (471 KB) with any portable media player device.
