The SPRY Foundation, together with the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute, is delighted to invite you to the second biennial national conference entitled, "Older Adults, Health Information and the World Wide Web" at the NIH/Natcher Center on the campus of NIH in Bethesda, Maryland, February 26-28, 2001.
- Join over 250 attendees from government and private sectors to discuss the issues that face older adults, their caregivers, and their healthcare professionals as they turn to the World Wide Web for health information and advice. - Meet leaders from the interdisciplinary fields of cognitive and human factors research; adult learning and education; and technology development, application, and training, including website development and design.
- Share research findings and identify new ways of using technology to more effectively communicate health information to the aging population, their caregivers, and their health providers.
Participants will acquire a range of practical tools, experiences, and new partners that will help them help older adults make choices regarding their health in the face of today's rapidly evolving biomedical research.
