Part 5: Walking - An Activity for Almost Everyone

To get ready for walking, first do some stretching exercises (pdf *, 364 kb).

Then, review a sample walking program (pdf *, 364 kb).

Now, go ahead and do it! Get up, stretch, and take a brisk walk for 5 minutes. Take long strides and swing your arms.

It's that easy!

You can continue the session when you get back from your walk.
