The Red Dress Pin

The primary goal of The Heart Truth campaign is to raise awareness that heart disease is the #1 killer of women. To support this goal, The Heart Truth campaign launched the Red Dress as the national symbol for women and heart disease in February 2003. The Red Dress Pin, symbolizing the message that "heart disease doesn’t care what you wear, it’s not just a man’s disease," was designed exclusively for The Heart Truth by Angela Cummings, internationally renowned accessory designer.
Made of two-tone silver plate with an overlay of red enamel, the pin features a delicate heart accent. Approximately 2" high, the pin is attached to a campaign message card and packaged in a red box.
