The Heart Truth Speaker’s Kit

Heart disease is the #1 killer of American women, but many women do not realize they are at risk. The Heart Truth Speaker’s Kit is an important tool of The Heart Truth for Women Campaign sponsored by the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute and its partners to promote awareness of heart disease among women.

The Kit contains anything anyone would need to conduct a one hour session on women and heart disease with their patients, friends, family, neighbors, or club members. It has an easy to follow Speaker’s Guide with accompanying 10 minute video, posters to promote your session, and order forms for additional Heart Truth materials.

By offering this session at your place of worship, a health fair, club meeting, workplace or local hospital, you can make a difference in women’s lives in your community.
